Sexy Valentines Day Look

February 14th is quickly approaching! Get ready for your big date night or just a night on the town. Candice Swanepoel has the perfect example for a date night look with deep-bronzed skin, retro waves, and glossy lips. Keep reading on how to get Candice’s look:

Bronzed Skin: Get a deep luminous tan without the wait with St. Tropez’s One Night Only Instant Glow Body Lotion. Not only does this product bronze you, but it has just enough shimmer in it to give you a healthy glow without looking muddy and it’s transfer resistant so it wont get on your clothes, etc. Apply the product starting from your legs working your way up.
Retro Waves: After applying heat protectant (I’m obsessed with Fekkai’s Smooth Hair Frizz Control Polish because its so lightweight), part your hair into a deep side part. Curl with a 1 and 1/2” curling iron and curl away from your face. I use the Conair Ceramic Curling Iron. It heats up super quick and holds my curls even without hairspray. Curl your hair in the same direction all the way around. Brush through your hair lightly and finish with hairspray if needed. The best hairspray I have ever used is Kenra.
Makeup: Start with a matte full coverage foundation. Set with loose powder. Lightly dust shimmery/bronzy blush like Bobbi Brown’sShimmer Brick in Bronze. The great thing about this product is it looks great on anyone, and you can not only use it as a blush, but also use it for eye shadow, which makes the look natural, but still glamorous. Bobbi Brown can be pretty pricey, but I know Physicians Formula makes something very similar thats a lot cheaper. Candice’s look is really soft, so eyebrow powder versus eye pencil will look best. Brow shadow is offered at affordable prices at the drugstore and high-end stores. Line your eyes with gel liner. Gel liner is great because it’s not as chalky as pencil, lasts longer, and doesn’t take as much practice as liquid liner does. Jaclyn Hill, one of my favorite beauty bloggers and YouTube beauty guru, swears by Maybelline Gel Liner in black. I’ve tried this gel liner and I really like it. Apply the gel liner with a brush like Mary Kay’s brow and eyeliner brush starting at your inner corner of your eye working your way towards the outer eye dragging lightly past the lash line to create a small cat eye effect. Make sure the thickest part of your eyeliner is on the outer edge of your eye to make your eyes look bigger. Finish the eyes by applying mascara and false lashes. Ardell makes great false lashes that are affordable. I recommend their natural lashes because it has a clear strip. You can buy them at the drugstore, Sally’s, or Ulta. Just make sure you trim them from the ends before applying them to your eye. Lastly, apply a rich neutral/ pink lip-gloss like Mary Kay's Nourishine Lip Gloss in Fancy Nancy.

I hope you all enjoy this look as much as I do! Check back next week for more tips! I hope ya’ll have a great day! J
