3 Favorite 2018 Grammy Looks

Hey y'all! It has been an extensive amount of time since I last posted. I'm so excited to be back posting! I've missed writing and posting a lot. I even "revamped" my whole look of the blog.

In this post, I am going to talk about three Grammy makeup and hair looks that were my favorite and easy, simple tips on how to to achieve them. Enjoy! Comment below or on my social media for any questions.
Besides the fact that I'm a huge fan of Lady Gaga, I loved her Grammy look! Her smoky eye, lace dress, and edgy hair totally gave me American Horror Story vibes. Lady Gaga's look is actually totally wearable because her eyes are the main focus. The skin makeup is very simple and matte. No blush is necessary, however, make sure to use bronzer to contour the cheeks. The goal is to look edgy not sick with the smokey eye. Apply powder to the eye brows in the direction the hair grows. As you can tell, you can be messy with it. To achieve the eyes, you can eye black eyeliner or black eye shadow powder to apply from lash line to crease and winging it out. Apply loose glitter with your color of choice over the entire lid, apply nude gloss and you're done!
I'm obsessed with everything about Rita's look. Her style was obviously inspired by Old Hollywood which never goes out of style. For the face, it looks likes she did a totally matte, full coverage foundation and powder. Applied a harsh contour on the cheek bones and applied a blush with a red undertone upward towards the temples. Apply a matte neutral eye shadows, and false lashes. Save the eyeliner for the bottom waterline. Finish off the looks with a cream red lipstick that has a blueish undertone (aka nothing too orangey or bright). The velvet and rose pinned on the dress just gave a cherry on top to the look!
Where do I begin?! This look is seriously stunning. Janelle went with the masculine look dressed in a suit, bow tie, and slicked pixie cut. The pins towards the front of the hairline made the her style more feminine and unique. To achieve Janelle's look, apply a semi full coverage foundation with a natural finish. Lots of highlighter and bronzer is necessary to achieve her glam glow. She naturally has a a beautiful bone structure so I don't think her makeup artist contoured. For the eyes, it looks like a cool toned brown, matte eye shadow was applied lash line to crease.Warmer, matte, brown eyeshadow was applied in the crease. Black eyeliner and voluminous false lashes on the top and bottom lashes were applied. Janelle's eyeshadow on the bottom of the eye bring out her beautiful brown eyes. Go for a teal, green, blue shimmer shade and apply it under the lash line with a shader brush. Just apply a clear gloss and your done!

Until next time,
